These paintings (2010-2013) are based on the novel Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino
The Mahler Suite

The Mahler Suite paintings (2006-2010), are based on the 4th movement (adagio) of Gustav Mahler’s 9th Symphony, his last completed work.
